Dr. Pandya received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Albany and Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 1993. She completed her Hospital Based Optometry Residency @ the FDR VA Medical Center/VA Hudson Valley Medical Center in Montrose, NY and Castle Point, NY. After her professional education, she was a staff Optometrist and later Director of Optometric Services @ the Neumann Eye Institute in Central Florida. She later relocated back to New York City where she was a staff Optometrist @ the VA Hudson Valley Medical Center and also at the Ophthalmology practice of Dr. Eric Mandel. Afterwards, she moved to Syracuse, NY for her husband’s professional training where she worked at the Syracuse VA Medical Center and at the Empire Vision Centers. Having had enough of Syracuse snow, the family decided to call Southern Virginia home where she was associated with an Optometric private practice for several years only it turned out not a permanent home as intended. Due to her husband’s professional opportunity, she relocated back to New York State last fall and now lives in Pittsford with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys exercising, cooking and reading when she is not busy being a parent.
