Dr. Brown arrived in Rochester in 1991 from her home state of Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1986 and received her Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1990. She completed an Optometric residency in Hospital based Optometry in 1991 at The Veteran's Administration Medical Center in West Roxbury, MA and Brockton, MA. She spent several years in practice before becoming the Director of Optometry at the Oak Orchard Community Health Center. She joined the Chili Vision Group in 2006. Dr. Brown is a member of the New York State Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
