Dr. Shearer was born and raised in Rochester. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo in 2005 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY Optometry in New York City in 2009. Dr. Shearer is also a Low Vision Specialist and performs low vision exams at the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She currently resides in Ontario with her husband and enjoys boating and swimming in her free time.
